SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY REPORTS
1. Saturday 4/6 at 2:30 p.m. on Rowena Drive, cross streets Silverfox/St. Cloud: while my husband was away, I got woken up by a 5'7" Hispanic Male dressed in black slack, gray dress shirt, black shoes. He was pounding on our door despite our sign of "No Visitors".
I got out of bed and told him to leave. He then wanted me to open my bedroom window and again, I told him to leave. He get pounding on my front door. I then opened up our front door, with our security screen door locked and told him again to leave. He stated he wanted me to unlock my gate on our driveway so he could get in the backyard. He pointed at a very old looking Time Warner Truck. I told him again him "No" and to leave. He refused! THREE TIMES I DEMANDED HE LEAVE!
I finally slammed the door in his face. I then noticed he was walking up and down in front of our house on the street. Dave checked with the neighbors in front and in back and no one called Time Warner. We also called Time Warner and they had no record. Monday we will be going to the Time Warner Office to verify this employee's presence at our home. We will also be contacting the OCSD to show them the video from our surveillance cameras.
2. Saturday 4/6:
We had a red shirt young Hispanic male come to our door despite a gate, a dog and a no soliciting sign. I yelled for him to leave. Also on Rowena drive. Meggan
Follow Up By RPMT Member Warning
To Rossmoor/Los Al:
As you will recall, A RPMT Member recently contacted us requesting that we immediately email our membership issuing this warning:
Good Evening, Los Al,
It has come to our attention that an incident allegedly occurred in Rossmoor on Sunday involving two students and an unidentified silver minivan. The students were approached by the driver and asked to come over to the van. We called the OC Sheriff's Office to gather more information, and they were unable to confirm the incident. In an abundance of caution, we want all families to take this opportunity to speak with their students regarding interactions with strangers, as student safety is our number one priority.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
With Gratitude,
Sherry Kropp, Superintendent
John Crandall of the Los Alamitos Patch contacted the Orange County Sheriff Department. His story is an excellent piece of work and diligence in compiling the facts.
